Blog Ideas
At first when I started to blog, I tried to be very factual and then I started to pay attention to other blogs and why some where a lot more popular than mine. I was surprised to see they were more informal, more conversational about day to day things.
So I tried to change the tone of my posts and it felt good because I was not only getting bored with presenting facts, but it occurred to me that there were already many other sites on line where people could get the same information I was writing about. It felt good to add more of myself, things were easier to write.
Now I’m thinking that there are so many sites and blogs on the web, that my collection of information on a topic is making life easier for some folks by grouping information on a single topic together on one site. With large sites that cover everything people have to spend time looking through them to find what they want. When they go to one of my blogs they may find everything they want right there without wasting time. It’s like regrouping.
Take U-Tube for example, I love watching the cute video’s people send in, and I know that you can look them up, but I find I get very distracted by other videos I come across along the way. One day I came upon a blog who collects the cute ones only. So now I just go to her blog and can immediately see what I want to see. What kind of blogs do you have?
