You’ve Got To Be Kidding Me
So, this morning I was looking through ads for freelance writers. I came upon a site that had clients who needed up to 50 articles and up to 350-500 words each. This is one of those bidding sites, which I really don’t care for.
Anyway, as I got deeper into each offer they all seem to say on the first page that their budget was between $30 - $250. Then as you go to another page where more information is given you see that they want to pay you a set price of $1.00 or $1.50 per article for 500 words. Not only that, but they also want the articles well researched and perfectly written.
Why don’t they just save themselves the dollar and break into my house and force me to write the article at gun point? Or better yet, they could force me to pay them a dollar and write the article for them too.
There are times when I’m desperate for money, but not that desperate, not yet anyway.
